In 1973, Fairfax Neonatal Associates (FNA) began one of the first neonatal intensive care units (NICU) in Northern Virginia with seven beds at the Inova Fairfax Hospital. Now more than four decades later, FNA provides care in the 108 bed Fairfax Neonatal Associates NICU at Inova Children’s Hospital, as well as the NICUs at Fair Oaks and Loudoun. FNA is not only devoted to providing exceptional quality care to premature infants, they have also made a significant impact through their philanthropic support throughout Inova. FNA’s generosity has inspired others to give and support the smallest, most vulnerable patients and their families.
